The research topics of students scientific association of Pharmaceutical Technology include issues related to two scientific areas. The first focuses on solid oral drug formulations, including those obtained by ionotropic gelation, as well as solid dispersions of medicinal substances with low water solubility. The second area concerns formulations applied to the skin and mucous membranes, including semi-solid formulations, polymer films and micro-needle systems.
Members of the Students scientific association of Pharmaceutical Technology, Michalina Jurga, Martyna Kloc and Pawel Dutkowski, have received funding from the Student Research Grant Program for a research project on the development of novel 3D printed multicomponent tablets with nimesulide.
